Stafford Springs, CT – Doug Coby. a former champion in the Stafford Motor Speedway Late Model and Pro Stock divisions, captured his first career SK Modified feature victory in dramatic fashion in the first of the weekend’s two 40-lap features.Coby, of Milford, used the bottom lane to shoot past leader Chuck Docherty in the event’s final lap to earn the checkers. Docherty was able to hold off a hard-charging Lloyd Agor to finish second. Jay Miller and Bo Gunning rounded out the top-5.
