Indianapolis, IN — USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget Car Series point leader Nick Wean will look to make it two straight when the series contests Saturday the tricky and fast Oswego Speedway in upstate New York.Wean won the season opener for the second-year series at the Waterford (Conn.) Speedbowl and is two points ahead of Ryan Osborne in the standings.
The 1/3-mile Oswego track held three Northeast Focus races last season, two of which were won by series champion Michael Sboro. This Saturday’s event is the first of three races for the Northeast Focus cars at Oswego in 2006.
