NHIS Announces 2008 Schedules for RoadRace, SCCA & NHKA

Loudon RoadRace Series Schedule Announced

Loudon, NH – The 2008 Loudon RoadRace Series (LRRS) schedule will feature eight weekends of Championship Cup Series (CCS) motorcycle racing. All events will be run on the 1.6 mile road course at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Over the years, the LRRS has developed a reputation for having some of the closest and most intense racing on two wheels.  A strong commitment to rider training and development has contributed to the quality of the LRRS programs.

The Penguin Roadracing School has scheduled training days prior to many of the LRRS weekends.  Present and future motorcycle road racers can get the training needed to become a fully licensed competitor in the Loudon RoadRace Series.  The school can provide rental racing leathers and rental bikes for these sessions.

 SCCA New England Region Opens Season at NHIS on April 10, 2008

Loudon, NH – The 2008 Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) New England Region schedule opens at New Hampshire International Speedway on Sunday, April 10, 2008 with a full slate of racing action.

SCCA New England Region racing gives fans the unique opportunity to see a wide range of sports cars including racing sedans, sports racers, and formula/open-wheel racers.  The SCCA recognizes over 40 different classes at their regional events.

2008 New Hampshire Karting Association Season at NHIS

Loudon, NH – The 2008 New Hampshire Karting Association (NHKA) season begins at New Hampshire International Speedway on Friday, April 4, 2008.

This is the first of four weekends of NHKA racing at “The Magic Mile” featuring multiple classes of go-karts in a true family atmosphere.  It’s not unusual to see two or even three generations racing.

The New Hampshire Karting Association is part of the World Karting Association (WKA), the nation’s leading sanctioning body for kart racing.  The WKA stages the National Championships at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla. every year between Christmas and New Years Day.
