Marcel Poulin Passes at 63

Marcel Poulin, age 63, of Greenbriar Rd., Oxford, the beloved husband of Louise Normandin Poulin, entered into eternal rest on Sunday (November 11, 2007), at Bridgeport Hospital. He was born July 16, 1944 in Notre Dame des Pins, Canada the beloved son of Armand and Jeanne Loubier Poulin.

Marcel was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church of Oxford. He was the president of the Marcel Poulin and Son Construction Company of Oxford. He enjoyed car racing at Stafford Springs Raceway, was an avid car collector and enjoyed snowmobiling. Marcel loved his family and many friends.

His family in addition to his loving wife Louise includes his beloved son Michael M. Poulin of Oxford, his three brothers Jean-Guy Poulin and his wife Brigitte of Hartford, Marc Poulin and his wife Esther of Bridgeport and Jules Poulin and his wife Lucie of Canada, two sisters Therese Poulin of Canada and Amilie Lessard and her husband Francis of Canada and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Mariette Poulin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday , November 16 at 10 a.m. (Directly) at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Oxford Rd., Oxford. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St., (Rte.. 67, across from Klarides Village) Seymour on Thursday November 15 from 4 – 8 p.m.
