Torco Fuels Named Official Fuel of American-Canadian Tour
The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) stock car racing organization has reached an agreement with RT Raceparts of Hudson, NH and Torco Racing Fuels to be the Official Fuel Supplier for all ACT Late Model racing in the United States and Canada, including Barre, VT’s Thunder Road, the ACT Late Model Tour, and the Série ACT Castrol, effective immediately. It is anticipated that other ACT-affiliated tracks in the region will become part of this program.
“RT Raceparts is very excited to partner with a stock car racing brand as strong as ACT,” said Tower. “We are thrilled to be able to announce this multi-faceted partnership, and are looking forward to supporting ACT and its competitors.”
“Having Torco Racing Fuels and RT Raceparts as our exclusive fuel supplier for 2008 and beyond will benefit all divisions of ACT, Thunder Road, and our associated members,” said ACT President Tom Curley. “Our relationship with Torco will address major issues involving the technical inspection of our race cars, and the full support we are receiving from both companies will help to maintain the integrity of the fuel required in our rule book. We thank Rob Tower for his cooperation in bringing this exciting new program to ACT racing.”
The ACT Late Model Tour championship season begins on Sunday, April 20 at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway. Thunder Road’s 49th season kicks off with the Merchants Bank 150 on Sunday, May 4. The Série ACT Castrol season opens on Sunday, May 18 at Autodrome St-Eustache in Montréal.
