New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Appear at SpeedwayEXPO ’08

Loudon, NH — New Hampshire Motor Speedway will be one of the prominent exhibitors at this weekend’s SpeedwayEXPO ’08.

The region’s largest motorsports trade show runs from Friday through Sunday in the Mallary Complex at the Eastern States Exposition Center in West Springfield, Mass.  The speedway’s booth will feature a diverse display of competitors and race cars scheduled to compete on the 1.058 mile oval throughout the 2008 season.

Janovic Begins Defense At Speedbowl SK-150

Waterford, CT — Reigning Waterford Speedbowl SK-Modified champion Rob Janovic Jr. admits to having “a little extra “spring in his step” these days. The realization of his name being among decades of Speedbowl modified champions has finally sunk-in.

“When you’re in the middle of the battle, you really don’t think about what the outcome is going to feel like. You’re too busy just trying to win the war,” says Janovic.

Janovic will be begin defense of his title April 12-13 in the SK-150, the headliner of the season-opening 12th annual Budweiser Modified Nationals. The weekend also includes the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Models, Sportsman, and Mini Stocks. The NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites, Legends, AllStar Race Trucks, Pro4 Modifieds and Allison Legacy Cars are on the agenda.

Peyton Sellers to Drive No. 44 for Santerre

Harrisburg, NC — Peyton Sellers and ASM Motorsports announced today they will combine their talents and contend for a NASCAR Grand National Division, Camping World East Series title for the 2008 season with Casella Waste Systems. The powerful union now pairs the top returning driver with the number one team.

2007 was an impressive season for Peyton Sellers in the Camping World East Series. He finished third overall working out of his family’s shop and running a single car all season. Santerre identified with Sellers’ situation and was impressed with his accomplishments, having raced and won his first championship under similar circumstances. Santerre hand-picked Sellers to drive the #44 for ASM and Casella Waste Systems because he felt he deserved the opportunity, and knew he could get the job done.
