Double Down Shootout Moved Forward

Waterford, CT — Forced by the on-coming tropical storm Hanna to cancel Saturday’s night program, the continuation of the Double Down Shootout presented by Mohegan Sun has been moved to Saturday, Sept. 13.

Two 25-lap SK-Modified features and the second features for the Late Models (25 laps), Sportsman (15) and Mini Stocks (15) are on the schedule. A Legends 25 lapper and an X Car 20 lapper will also be run.

The $5,000 SK sweep bonus remains in affect. Should that happen, five lucky fans will get away with $1,000 apiece.

There’ll be a double-dose of points for the SKs. The other divisions will be earning points as well.
