Loudon, NH — Due to inclement weather, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Heluva Good! Pole Day for the SYLVANIA 300 has been canceled. The NASCAR Camping World Series East Heluva Good! 125 has been postponed to Saturday, September 13.
Those guests who purchased tickets for Friday’s qualifying and race will be able to attend all of Saturday’s events.

Loudon, NH – Persistent rains at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Friday caused NASCAR officials to postpone the NASCAR Camping World Series East race until Saturday.
The Heluva Good! Fall 125 is now scheduled to take the green flag at 10 a.m.
Peyton Sellers won the Coors Light Pole Award during Thursday’s qualifying and will start on the front row alongside Steve Park. Eddie MacDonald, who won June’s race, will start third, alongside Brian Ickler.

Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has postponed its Final Friday Night Shoot-Out NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing program due to next Friday night, September 19th due to a forecast of rain and fog. The Final Friday Night Shoot-Out will be the final Friday night event of the 2008 season before Stafford Motor Speedway closes the doors on its 2008 NASCAR season with the 36th Annual CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend, scheduled for September 26th through September 28th.
Tickets for the Final Friday Night Shoot-Out are priced at $15.00 for adult general admission tickets, $5.00 for children ages 6-14, $18.00 for reserved seats, and free for children ages 5 & under.

Due to impending rain and fog, Stafford Motor Speedway has postponed its final Friday Night NASCAR Racing event of the 2008 season to next Friday, September 19th. NASCAR Whelen All-American Series championship contenders will have one last race to position themselves for the season ending CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend where the track champions will be decided.
In the SK Modified® divison, Keith Rocco moved back past Ted Christopher for the points lead last Friday night, and he leads Christopher by 10 points heading into this Friday night, 606-596. In the Late Model division, Ryan Posocco holds a 60 point lead over Dillon Moltz, 702-642, Chris Matthews holds the SK Light Modified points lead by 20 points over Joe Allegro, Jr., 620-600, Bill Davis continues to lead Sean Foster in the Ltd. Late Model division by 20 points, 670-650, and Norm Sears holds the DARE Stock points lead over Scott Roy by 32 points, 620-588.
