Erick Rudolph of Ransomville and the DeLange Racing team closed out an impressive 2008 season last weekend. The team headed south to Concord Motorsport Park in North Carolina to compete in the Sixth Annual John Blewett III Memorial North-South Shootout. It was Rudolph and the team’s third visit to this premier event.
The team compiled an impressive list of accomplishments during the 2008 season and had high hopes for a good finish at Concord. Unfortunately the race did not go according to plan and Erick struggled with the ill-handling Original Pizza Logs/PrimeTyme Motorsports/Brigham Concrete #45 Modified. At the checkered flag he was scored in the 13th position, ending the year on a disappointing note. But when compared to the full year’s accomplishments the talented teenager saw some significant achievements.
