ARTS Hosts 2008 Banquet

The 2008 Season Banquet was held on Saturday, November 22nd at the Lakeview Inn in Averill Park, NY.

Andy Lindeman was honored as the 2008 Points Champion along with Greg Butler, Jr. being honored as the 2008 Rookie of the Year.  Greg also finished 3rd in the points.  Along with their trophies, they received checks from the points fund and the owner’s fund as well as jackets from Hoosier.

Also honored were Tom Smith who finished 8th, Chris Austill who finished 7th, Mike Carrigg who finished 6th, Derek Chriss who finished 5th, Chris Correll who finished 4th, Greg Butler, Jr. finishing 3rd, and Gee Perry who finished 2nd.  The top 3 received trophies and everyone received checks from the points fund and the owner’s point fund.  A total of $8,100.00 was given out.

Frank Bauchiero, Jr. of FEB Construction who owns the #83 driven by Gee Perry renewed his sponsorship for 2009.  We would like to take this opportunity to Thank Frank again for his support.

This years Hard Luck Award went to Gee Perry.  He battled transmission problems most of the season and was still able to finish 2nd in points.

Also honored at this years banquet were Kim, Linda Carrigg, Ann Marie Pard, Michelle Pard, and Carol Michie for all of their help and support during the season both at the track and off.

Special Thanks along with plaques were given to Bob Ormond, Tech Inspector; Sue Glaude, Assistant Tech Inspector; Alicen Behnam, Assistant; Lorraine Pard, Assistant Race Director; and Scott Michie, Race Director and Flagman.

After dinner and the presentations were over, everyone enjoyed the rest of the evening dancing and mingling.
