Stafford Springs, CT — Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Town Fair Tire has become the title sponsor of the track’s prestigious August 7th Whelen Modified Tour event, the 19th Annual Town Fair Tire 150.
Town Fair Tire’s association with Stafford Motor Speedway is a partnership that traces its origins back 10 years to 1999. Town Fair Tire began their involvement with Stafford as an advertiser in the track’s PitStopper Magazine and has continually expanded their level of participation since their initial program advertisement. Town Fair Tire increased their advertising presence at Stafford by becoming a Billboard Sponsor and eventually began setting up displays on the midway to showcase their lines of tires and specialty rims. The midway displays led to Town Fair Tire becoming an Event Title Sponsor in 2007 as they sponsored Town Fair Tire Summer Heat and presented contingency bonuses to the SK Modified® and Late Model feature event winners. Last season saw Town Fair Tire shift their title sponsorship to Stafford’s popular Summer Blast-Off Fireworks program and the sponsorship has been elevated to a topflight level for the 2009 season by sponsoring the August 7th Whelen Modified Tour event.
