PASS Completes 2009 Sportsman Series Schedule, Moves Fall White Mountain Date

In an effort to better accommodate  short track racing  fans, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model Saturday, September 19 date at White Mountain Motorsports Park will move to Friday night September 18 .

In making the announcement series president Tom Mayberry said, “White Mountain has always been a popular show for fans of Super Late Model racing, but in recent years the increasingly tight schedule at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has made it difficult for fans to make it up to White Mountain in time for the race. We feel it is in the best interest of the series, our fans and short track racing in general to move the race to Friday evening. By doing so, short track fans won’t have to choose between super speedway racing and the fastest short track racers in the east; they’ll have the best of both worlds.”

In other scheduling news, The PASS Sportsman series will wrap up their 2009 campaign and crown the 2009 PASS Sportsman Champion  at Groveton New Hampshire’s Riverside Speedway on Saturday October 17th. The addition of the Riverside Sportsman race completes the 2009 points schedules for all five PASS racing divisions and six racing series.

The PASS South super late models kick off their 2009 season this weekend with the South Carolina Clash at Dillon (SC) Motor Speedway on Saturday March 14th. The “Clash” will also mark the inaugural 75 Lap race for the Pro All Stars Series’ latest division, the PASS Late Model Trucks.

PASS North Super Late Model, Mod, and Sportsman teams are busy preparing for their Sunday April 19th season opener at Speedway 95 in Hermon Maine.
