Rain Postpones Whelen Modified Tour’s Trip To Chemung
Chemung, NY — Due to a forecast for heavy rain Friday and Saturday, NASCAR and Chemung Speedrome officials have decided to postpone Saturday night’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Chemung 120.A makeup date for the event will be announced at a later date.
With this postponement, up next for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will be the Budweiser 150 at Thompson International Speedway on Thursday, Sept. 3. The second of three trips for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Thompson was originally scheduled for Aug. 13 but was moved because of weather.
