Kraze’s night with the Seekonk Sports Truck Special, Pro4’s and Race for a Cure postponed

Seekonk, MA — With a steady rain falling, the August 29 program, featuring the Seekonk Sports Truck 30 lap main event, along with the Pro4 Modifieds and the Pro4 Powder Puff in the Race for a Cure, has been postponed until September 12.

The 3rd Annual Kraze’s Speed Equipment Seekonk Sports Truck Special gives the Truck division a chance to take center stage at The Cement Palace. In the two years prior, Charlie Rose Jr is the lone driver to take home the honors. Favorites for the win in this event lie on the shoulders of 9 time feature winner Rick Martin and six time winner Jody Tripp. Lenny Guy, John Paiva, Russ Borges and Kyle DeSouza have all come close to victory in 2009, but have come up a little short.

The Pro4 Modifieds were set to return for their third appearance this season, with Norn Wrenn and Cory Cleary have been the victors in the first two appearances. Former Seekonk Competitors Frank Perry, coming off his first career win, Robin Berghman and Brian Vincent all run strong at their home track, and are looking to crack Seekonk’s Victory Lane.

The Pro4 Race for a cure will have an additional 2 weeks to gear up for a ground breaking fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness. The ladies behind the scenes will take center stage on the speedway for a 20 lap race. All proceeds from pledges will go to Breast Cancer Awareness.

A. R. C. racing returns on Saturday, September 5, with a full night of action with the Pro Stocks, Late Models, Seekonk Sport Trucks and Street Stocks. The Late Models will compete in a 50 lap feature, their third of the season. Action starts at 6pm, with general admission just $12.00 for adults and kids 12 and under FREE.
