Practice for Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium is Set for November 14 & 21

Wall, NJ — Wall Stadium promoter Jim Morton has announced that his third mile paved high banked oval will be open for paid practice sessions on Saturdays November 14 and 21. The paid practice sessions, which are being offered in preparation for the 36th annual Turkey Derby, will begin at 11:00 a.m. and run until 4:00 p.m. both days.

The annual Turkey Derby is a two-day speedfest featuring tour type Modified, Red Bank Sleep Shoppe Modified, Calabreeze Pools Sportsman, Street Stock, INEX Legend Car, Flanagan Retail Development Factory Stock and Three-Quarter Midget race cars. Morton recently announced that Late Model stock cars have been added to the Turkey Derby schedule for the first time this year. The Late Model cars will headline the Friday, November 27, program, while Modified feature racing is the highlight of the Saturday, November 28, card.

Wall Stadium’s Turkey Derby, a traditional northeast auto racing season closing event, is always held during the daylight hours on Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

Wall Stadium is located on Route 34 in Wall Township, N.J., just one mile north of Garden State Parkway exit 98 and Interstate 195 exit 35B.
