Thompson, CT — The first of four open competition Tour-Type Modified Shoot Outs will be held this Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Thompson International Speedway. The much heralded event is expected to attract many of the top Modified race teams from the northeast in what is bound to be an exciting, go for the gusto type of racing spectacular.
Drivers from every major touring division have expressed interest in this unique racing program and are expected to be on hand to compete in qualifying races, a consolation race if necessary, and an all out charge for the 40-lap feature event.
Joining the Tour-Type Modifieds at Thompson this Thursday will be the track’s very own Sunoco Modifieds, Late Models, Limited Sportsman, Thompson Modifieds and Mini Stocks. Qualifying races will be held for all divisions beginning at 6 PM.
