Hudson, NH’s Joey “Pole” Polewarczyk, Jr. earned Ford its first ACT Late Model Tour win at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME on Saturday, July 24. Pole moved from his fourth starting position to take the lead on lap 14. He held the lead and lapped the majority of the field until lap 83.
On the lap 83 restart Pole lost the lead to Farmington, ME’s Jeff Taylor, who also competes with a Ford crate engine. Taylor held onto the lead for 13 laps before Pole took back over for good. Taylor remained in second until he blew a tire with just under 20 laps remaining.

Seekonk, MA — The Phil’s Propane 75lap Pro Stock Main was cancelled, along with the full Saturday card as, once again, the heavy rains came. This was to be the second qualifier for the PASS 150 in August. The race will be rescheduled, but at this time, there has not been a definite date set. The Late Models, Street Stocks and Sport Trucks were also on the card.
This coming Saturday, July 24, will feature a 75 lap feature for the Late Models. This will be the longest race since they ran a 100 lap race in 2000. While this will be a points race, contenders from other tracks are welcome to compete in this event. You can run either Seekonk Late Model rules or ACT rules. Both are legal under 2010 Seekonk Speedway guidelines. Also on the card will be the ARC Pro Stocks, Sport Trucks and Street Stocks.
Action starts at 6pm. Adult admission is just $12.00, with kids 12 and under FREE. For more information, check out our website at seekonkspeedway.com.
