The New England Truck Series (NETS), will be participating this Saturday September 25, in Monadnock Speedway’s Finale Race program in Winchester NH, along with several other touring series in attendance. The points battle will be on between the Chevy powered Wells Communication sponsored #3 truck of Andy Lindeman of Poestenkill NY, and the #16 Chevy powered Lee Boy Construction Equipment sponsored truck of Willy Auchmoody of Highland NY, with a few points difference between them for the lead.
The second battle going on is between the East Hampton Auto Parts sponsored Chevy truck #85 of Greg Butler Jr. of East Hampton CT, against another Chevy powered FEB Construction sponsored truck #83 Gee Perry of Grandby CT, with a one point difference for third in the points.
The third battle going on, with a ten point lead for fifth in the points is between the Dan Engwer Wholesale Florist sponsored Chevy truck of Derek Chriss #12 of Averill Park NY, competing against Dave’s Automotive Enterprises sponsored Chevy truck # 6 Craig Cashman of Marlbough NH.

Seekonk, MA — Rick Martin picks up his fifth title, his first in the Sport Trucks to go along with his four in the Pro Stocks. Fred Astle makes it three in a row, and five total in the Pro Stocks, trying two records. Ryan Vanasse goes back to back in the Late Models. Steve Axon picks up his first Street Stock title.
Fred Astle is the second driver with 3 consecutive Pro Stock titles, tying Norm Holden who did it in 1983, 84 and 85. He is also the second driver with 5 Pro Stock titles, joing Vinny Annarummo in that column.
Ryan Vanasse is the latest driver to win back to back Late Model championships. Doing both while also competing with the Pro Stocks as well.

Derek Ramstrom of West Boylston, Mass., attempts to win his second consecutive Super Late Model championship at Thompson International Speedway in Thompson, Conn., with the final points race of the season at the track on Sunday, September 26. Qualifying for the 30-lap NASCAR Whelen All-American Series event begins at 4 p.m. Ramstrom has six feature wins this season at the track and leads both Larry Gelinas and Mike O’Sullivan by two points atop the standings. Last year, Ramstrom won the track championship and became the youngest champion in track history.
