Family Ford of Enfield to Supply Stafford Speedway with Safety Trucks for Third Consecutive Season
Stafford Springs, CT — As with any NASCAR Whelen All-American Series short track in the country, cleaning up after accidents is a key component of a successful race program. For the third consecutive season, Family Ford of Enfield will supply Stafford Motor Speedway with two trucks to be used as safety vehicles, which will help the Stafford Safety Team perform their on-track duties.
The partnership between Stafford Speedway and Family Ford began prior to the 2009 season with Family Ford supplying a single vehicle and Family Ford doubled up with two trucks for the 2010 season. For the 2011 season at Stafford, Family Ford will once again provide a new 2011 Super Duty F-350 as well as a new 2011 F-150 Crew Cab to serve as the track’s safety vehicles.
“Our partnership will be similar to last year with us providing two trucks,” said Mike Moriarty, General Manager of Family Ford of Enfield. “The program with Stafford Speedway has been very successful for us. We’ve had a ton of people from the Stafford area and as far east as Putnam coming into the showroom and telling us how they saw our trucks in action at Stafford and heard our P.A. announcements during the race programs. Everyone here at Family Ford loves racing and we’re happy to be partners with the track. We’re all excited about the new season, this will be our third season partnering with Stafford, and we’d like to think that we’ll be doing this for a while to come.”
