Open Practice Session Brings Out a Wide Variety of Race Cars
Thompson, CT — Eleven different divisions of race cars were represented at Thompson Speedway’s first open practice session of the year. The variety of race cars included everything from NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and K & N Series cars to vintage antique stock cars and midgets. The open practice session began at 11 am and ran non-stop for the remainder of the day.
A second open practice session will be held next Saturday, April 6th and will be the final one held before the season-opening Icebreaker scheduled for the weekend of April 13 & 14. Tickets for the Icebreaker are available by calling the Thompson Speedway track office at 860-923-2280. All major credit cards are accepted for phone orders.
