NEMST Set to Conquer the Magic Mile August 3rd!

2014, the 6th year in competition, will hold many firsts for the Texas Roadhouse North East Mini Stock Tour presented by Twisted Tea. On June 22, history will be made as the entry level touring series will hit the dirt banks of Legion Speedway in Rumney, NH for their appearance on a non-asphalt surface. Later on in the season, however the NEMST will conquer another new race track that has been on the eyes of many racers.

On August 3rd the mini-stocks of the NEMST will make their way around the largest oval racing facility in New England, New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The NEMST has been involved with NHMS via their 1.6 mile road course and ¼ mile mini oval over the past two racing seasons. This season the NEMST will see a new version of the 1200 acre NHMS campus. The Magic Mile has been a staple on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Schedule since 1992 and will now be a part of the NEMST’s 2014 campaign.

The NEMST will run a 25 lap feature event Sunday August 3rd as part of the 24th Annual Vintage Racing Celebration Oval Days. Qualifying events are still being planned and will be forwarded shortly. “We are proud to have had such a great series of events to announce this off season including new tracks, revolutionary events, and some great new marketing partners. The 2014 season will mark the return of a number of past NEMST drivers as well as great new teams breaking into the touring sector.” NEMST Promoter Bob Guptill said.
