Senior Champ Kart Indoor Racers in Atlantic City will Race for “Hoosier Rewards” Tire Bonuses

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ December 5, 2014 . . . Senior Champ Kart teams racing in the Len Sammons Motorsports Productions (LSMP) Indoor auto racing event in Atlantic City’s famous Boardwalk Hall will be competing for even greater prize money and awards than was previously thought.

Thanks to Hoosier Tire of Lakeville, Ind., the highest four finishers in the Champ Kart feature race using Hoosier tires on all four corners will receive two free right side tires. And if the race is won by a driver competing with Hoosier tires on all four corners, Hoosier will back up the two free tires with a cash bonus of $200.

The ‘Hoosier Rewards’ program was developed by Chad Wright, Hoosier Tire Oval Tire Product Manager, who released the details of the company’s bonus plan this past week. Competitors in the Senior Champ Kart division, now have their choice of tire manufacturer and compounds in both Atlantic City and in Trenton. Competitors have the option to run a Hoosier D30A or A40 Compound or they can run a Burris 33 or 55 compound tire. In recent years all competitors were mandated to run the Burris tires.

Hoosier Tire is the exclusive tire provider for the LSMP Three Quarter Midget division that runs indoor events slated for Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, N.J. December 19 and Saturday, December 20, and at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. on January 30 and 31, 2015.

Battle Of Trenton begins on Friday, with TQ Midget racing featured both days. Champ Karts are co-featured on Friday and the Lentini Auto Salvage Slingshots compete with the TQs on Saturday.

A full field of 70 TQs will race both Friday and Saturday nights in a unique format. Friday Night’s event will find time trials splitting the field between odd and event groups. Each group will then have three heat races to set a field of 20 which will then compete in one of two 20 lap feature events held that evening. Saturday’s Schedule will feature a more traditional format of time trials, heat races, B-mains leading up to a single 40 lap feature event.

Competing with the TQ Midgets will be the Sr. Champ Karts on Friday night and the Slingshots on Saturday night. Thanks to the support of new division sponsor Lentini Auto Salvage, the 20 lap Slingshot feature event in Trenton will now pay $1,000 to win.

Entry forms are available online at www.aarn.com for all classes.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday events remain available at the Sun National Bank Center Box Office in Trenton or online atwww.comcasttix.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200. Luxury suites are also available for Christmas parties by calling 609-656-3207.

For the first time ever a special “combo” ticket will be available giving attendees the option to purchase tickets to both nights of racing at a discounted price. As an added bonus those who purchase the combo will also receive access to a special Fanfest on Saturday night before the races.

The Atlantic City meet will be sponsored by NAPA Auto Parts which will once again return as the title sponsor for the event. Tickets are now on sale for both of these races.
