PASS Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory to Air Live on 51 TV

Naples, ME (3/2/15) – The Easter Bunny 150 has been a marquee Pro All Stars Series (PASS) event since its inception in 2006. The event has brought the top short track talents from North, South and everywhere in between to the historic Hickory Motor Speedway. Fans and racers alike have relished the ability to race or take in the sights of a prestigious race at the historic facility in Hickory, NC .

Now, for the first time in the event’s 10-year history, fans everywhere will be able to witness the prestige and aura of the Easter Bunny 150 live on Saturday, April 4.

Officials from PASS and 51 TV, the online video streaming network by Speed51.com, announced today that the 10th Annual Easter Bunny 150 can be viewed live via a streaming broadcast provided by 51 TV.

51 TV will broadcast all of the race day action from the North Carolina oval live on a pay-per-view basis on Saturday, April 4. The headline event of the Easter Bunny 150 will be the PASS National Super Late Model championship event. It will feature the top Super Late Model drivers from PASS North, PASS South and other series from around the country. The live video broadcast will also include live coverage of the PASS Pro Late Models, Must See Racing Sprint Series, USAC HPD Eastern Midgets and Legends Car feature events.

“The Easter Bunny 150 is where Super Late Model racing came to life again in the Carolinas back in 2006 and has become one of the premier events in PASS,” said PASS President Tom Mayberry. “This year’s event is bigger than ever with the addition of the Must See Sprints and we’re glad we can bring it all to our fans across North America thanks to 51 TV. 51 TV’s coverage is by far and away the best in the business and we’re glad to partner with them.”

51 TV will utilize its signature broadcast style to the Easter Bunny 150, which features multiple moving and static camera angles, a live at-track broadcast team with pit reporters and a network-style graphics package.

For the first time ever, the Easter Bunny 150 weekend will expand to two days, beginning on Friday afternoon, April 3 with practice for the PASS Super Late Models, Must See Sprint Cars and support divisions and will be followed by twin 25 lap qualifying races for the Must See Racing Sprint Cars and features for the PASS Pro Late Models and Legends Cars.

Then, with the 51 TV cameras live on Saturday, April 4, the PASS Super Late Models will compete in the 10th Annual Easter Bunny 150 along with the 40 lap “Southern Showdown” for the Must See Racing Sprint Cars and features for the PASS Pro Late Models, USAC HPD Eastern Midgets and Legends.
