Little Prepares for K&N Pro Series Season Debut with Larry McReynolds Racing

SHERRILLS FORD, North Carolina (April 14, 2015) — NASCAR Next driver, Jesse Little, begins his 2015 season with this week’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series PittLite125 at Bristol Motor Speedway.

While the first race of the season comes well into the series schedule, the 18-year old has been busy in the off-season after signing a new team alliance with Larry McReynolds Racing where he will bring a brand new Toyota Camry to the world’s fastest half-mile.

“(Car chief) Matt (Noyce) put together a great car for us during the off-season and I know that (Crew Chief) Steve (Graham) and the crew will have it dialed when we unload this week,” Little said.

“We’re excited to debut this new Performance Friction Brakes and NASCAR Technical Institute Toyota Camry and with all the work everyone at Team Little Racing and Larry McReynolds Racing have done we’re expecting to have a good run in the PittLite 125.”

Having posted two solid qualifying efforts in his most recent starts at Bristol Motor Speedway (fourth and tenth respectively) and capturing two poles in the last four races of 2014 Little is confident in earning another strong starting posting for the 125-shootout, he noted.

“We’ve qualified up front at Bristol and put together solid finishes. It’s grass roots racing for me (at Bristol), as you have to get up on the wheel and drive the car with strategy and care. You can’t go barreling into the corners and burn the tires off or tear up the equipment as that will just lead to a bad day in the end.

Our plan is to continue with what has worked in the past to get another strong starting position out of qualifying and then see what we can do over 125 laps of racing to be there at the end.”

Little has confidence in Noyce’s and Graham’s ability to have his new Camry ready for the challenge, he added.

“Matt and Steve bring a lot of knowledge to the team and I’m excited to see what we can do not just at Bristol but throughout the NASCAR K&N Pro Series schedule that we’re racing.”

Once the checkered flag drops at Bristol Little will put his focus towards an anticipated schedule that will include selected NASCAR K&N Pro Series and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events across the country.

While Little’s season is starting after many of his competitors have been at it for weeks, Little believes he’ll be able to pick-up where he left in his last K&N Pro Series start (Phoenix 2014).

“There is plenty coming up on our schedule and we’ll have some announcements coming up over the next few weeks, but this week it’s about Bristol and going for pole, leading laps and winning,” Little said.
