Tyler Leary Seeking Monadnock Super Stock Crown

Tyler Leary will return to the Super Stocks at Monadnock Speedway. Rick Bushey of Hatfield, MA designed the 11X car. Leary was on hand at the Frank Maratta Auto Show at the Eastern States Exposition.

The pressure is off of Leary. He is not nervous entering this season. He feels that whatever happens will happen, but feels it will be a great year. Leary feels that a championship is always a goal. “If the word championship is involved, you’re always looking or be at the greatest point you can.”

Leary feels the wins will come to him, but there is always that stride to win the championship.

Leary started last year with a podium finish. He consistently finished in the top five or top 10. He scored his first win on June 28, ending Tom Carey, III’s six race winning streak. This season is a whole new beginning. “We’re looking at some tough competition,” Leary said. “Things always change around throughout the season.”

Leary’s father raced Late Models at Riverside Park Speedway over the years. Tyler feels his father has been a great mentor to him from learning how to ride a bicycle, to driving a car on the street, to driving a race car. Without his father and the sponsors, Leary feels he would not be racing. The first race for Super Stocks is May 2.
