Persistent Storms Halt Performance Fiberglass Products 75 presented by CoolShirt

Columbus, Ohio (June 14, 2015) – A pop-up shower came through 20 minutes into the initial Super Cup Stock Car Series practice session at Columbus Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon.  Unfortunately, it would not be the only rainfall in the area and as a result track and series officials were forced to cancel the second race of the 2015 season.

The event will not be rescheduled; however, it has been agreed upon between competitors and ownership with CNB Bank Raceway Park to hold twin 50 lap races when the series returns to the Clearfield, Pennsylvania facility in two weeks rather than the originally scheduled 75 lap feature.  Each race on the evening of Saturday, June 27 will award championship points, which will make up for the lost opportunity due to the rainout at Columbus.

Further details regarding the next event will be forthcoming, but will mirror the last time the series used this format in 2009.  Information and race day schedule will be available at the official web site www.supercupstockcarseries.com as well as on Facebook at www.facebook.com/SCSCSRacing and on Twitter@SCSCSRacing.
