USAC Dirt Midget Association Ready to Invade Albany-Saratoga Speedway with Stewart Friesen Piloting Matczak Owned Midget

Ellington, CT: After a successful race in 2015, the USAC Dirt Midget Association will be making another appearance for 2016 at the famed dirt track Albany-Saratoga Speedway. The race will take place on Friday, June 10th and is race one of two this season for the series at the speedway.

Joining the series regulars such as Champion Adam Pierson and racing legend Ray Miller, will be well known modified and sprint car racer Stewart Friesen who will be driving the number five USAC dirt midget owned and prepared by famed car owner Skip Matczak.

Friesen is no stranger to racing in the New York area and has several wins at tracks throughout that region.

Matczak, one of the series founders, noted that “the competition level of the series has increased tremendously since we last raced at the Albany-Saratoga Speedway so the fans are in for an exciting action-packed event.”

Albany-Saratoga Speedway is a 4/10 mile dirt race track with a long and storied history in the Capital District region of New York. It is conveniently located on Route 9 in Malta NY, and has been continuously hosting races since 1965.

On Friday, June 10th, the pit gates open at 4:00 pm, grandstands at 5:00 pm with racing action getting underway at 7:00 pm.
