Fireworks, Firecracker 40, Modifieds and Sportsman at Grandview Saturday

BRC Late Models are in the Limelight at Grandview with Running of Chapman Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Dealership Firecracker 40 along with Fireworks Display, TP Trailers 358 Modifieds, and Sportsman Saturday

BECHTELSVILLE, PA July 6, 2016 . . . The popular BRC NASCAR Late Models will be in the spotlight on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. Current point leader and defending champion Chuck Schutz will head up a strong field of racers as they take part in the big event of the season for the BRC Late Models, the Firecracker 40 being sponsored by Chapman Ford Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealership in Horsham, PA. They are the No. 1 Volume Dealer in the Philadelphia Region. In addition to the Late Models racing for increased prize money and the prestige of winning the big one,  the TP Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds will be in action along with the Sportsman stock cars. Topping off the night will be the annual FIREWORKS display.

At least 12 events of racing will be presented along with the always popular FIREWORKS display.

This Saturday’s Low Down and Dirty Radio Meet & Greet is all about the Late Models. One of the rising stars of NASCAR Late Models Dan Green will be part of the opportunity for fans to meet the drivers, take pictures and collect autographs. Veteran racer, former champion, Lou Egrie Sr. will be there along with talented Drew Weiser. All drivers will have their cars on display at 5 p.m. in an area very close to the main gate.

All the activities on this night, Saturday, July 9th, get underway at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $25 with kids 6 thru 11 admitted for $5 while children under six admitted for free. Main gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Chapman is located on Easton Road in Horsham, PA and has eight dealerships spread over Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The business is family owned by Randy and Michael Chapman. Chapman’s return to Grandview will be their first involvement at the NASCAR track since they were involved with sponsorship of former racers Rick Schaffer and Dave Stonebraker.

Next on the schedule is the return of Super DIRTcar Series to Grandview for the Traffic Jam featuring a 60-lap Modified main event that will include many of the top dirt track Modified talents. In addition, there will be a 25-lap Sportsman race. A full series of qualifying heat races will be lead up to the feature events. The Thursday, July 14th event will have a 7:30 p.m. starting time.

Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. A full assortment of great concessions and novelty items are available. Free parking on the grounds. Fans are invited to the competition area after the events are completed to meet the racers. Sunday, July 24, 1 p.m., Outlaw Enduro Racing plus Blast from the Past Vintage Racing. Twin 75s for Big Cars and Twins 75s for Small Cars, Ladies race, Junkyard race and Vintage races.

Thursday, July 26, 7:30 p.m. Thunder on the Hill  Racing Series featuring 410 Sprints and 358 Modifieds including continuation of events postponed from June 28th.

Saturday, July 30, 7:30 p.m. WNPV-1440 AM Radio Night featuring TP Trailers Modifieds, BRC Late Models, Sportsman and Blast from the Past Vintage racing.
