Mother Nature Gets Holland; Rained Out for Second Time in 2016

HOLLAND, New York (August 13, 2016) – For just the second time in 2016, speedway management of Holland International Speedway was forced to cancel the racing activities scheduled for Saturday, August 13.

All tickets that were dated for August 13 are good for the program set for Saturday, August 20. The August 13th card was supposed to feature the Hornets in a twin 25 lap feature. Any rescheduling of events will be posted on the track’s social media pages as well as the track website.

The race for the 2016 Holland track titles will continue to heat up on Saturday, August 20th as the VSP Graphic Group presents Firefighter Family Night, free admission for firefighters and their families. It is also Library Night at the Races. Children that read two books earn a free pass to the races from the Buffalo & Erie County Public Libraries. A full NASCAR Whelen All-American Series program will be presented as the Chargers will be running twin features. Pit gates will open at 4:15pm with grandstand gates opening at 5:45pm and qualifying racing action starts at 6:00pm. NASCAR feature racing will be underway promptly at 7:05pm.
