Gdovic Joins DAC Motorsports Driver Lineup for 12 Hours of Sebring

China Grove, N.C. (March 15, 2017) — Brandon Gdovic is joining DAC Motorsports’ driver lineup for the 65th annual Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway March 18. Gdovic will be piloting the No. 18 Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship Series.

Gdovic completes a championship-caliber roster that includes Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North America series regulars Emmanuel Anassis and Anthony Massari. Gdovic has raced with this team of drivers throughout the 2016 Super Trofeo season, as well as the 2017 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.

“I am looking forward to the 12 Hours of Sebring,” said Gdovic. “We had a really good test and were very pleased with the car. Hopefully, we will have continued improvement as we learned a lot at the 24 Hours of Daytona. We expect to have a great finish that represents this amazing team effort.”

The DAC entry is one of six Huracan GT3s entered for the race, with Lamborghini being the most represented manufacturer in the GTD class of the second race of IMSA’s Tequila Patron Endurance Series. The No. 18 will carry the emblems of team partners La Champagnerie, Sonic Tools, DAC Aviation, ComServe Wireless, Windstax and Holand Automotive.

Gdovic’s continued success in the sports car racing world has gained the attention of the community. He is fresh off the heels of his second consecutive Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series season scoring a second place in the North American Championship with Gdovic taking home three wins and eight podium finishes in only 10 races. He juggled sports car racing with stock car racing seamlessly, competing in multiple NASCAR XFINITY Series races, as well as the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series. Most recently, Gdovic competed in a three-series racing gauntlet at the 24 Hours at Dubai, podiuming in five of six races he competed in, and going on to secure a TCR Middle East points championship for Liqui Moly Team Engstler.

The 12 Hours of Sebring at Sebring International Raceway will be televised March 18th, 2017 beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1. The complete broadcast schedule can be found at www.imsa.com.
