Hall Seeks Icebreaker Repeat

Garrett Hall of Scarborough, ME is the defending PASS North winner at Thompson (CT) Speedway Motorsports Park. The series returned last year to the 5/8 mile oval after a four-year absence.

“It’s high speed compared to a lot of the tracks around here and you really need to focus to make sure you hit the right groove,” Hall said.

He will start his season running the PASS North events at Oxford Plains (ME) Speedway and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine. He may focus his efforts on the Pro Series championship at Beech Ridge.

Hall’s goals are to continue to improve his program by racing at a variety of tracks. The Oxford 250 on August 27 involves pit strategy and Hall wants to put himself in the best position to succeed in the premier race.

Hall entered last year’s Icebreaker looking to make up for a disappointing effort at New Smyrna (FL) Speedway.

“I felt like I needed to win there no matter what and winning during the Icebreaker was just a bonus making my first win that much better.”

Hall won again at Speedway 95. He finished the season 5 top fives, and 7 top tens in 11 PASS North starts.

Hall is supported by NAPA Auto Parts, Quinn’s Installation Contractors, Risbara Brothers Construction, CertainTeed Saint-Gobain, American Legion, Black Point Auto and Towing, New England Tech Air, New Energy Solutions, and Black Point Antiques and Classics.
