Lucas Oil ASCS National Lineup Updated with Two Dates in Missouri

TULSA, Okla. (March 6, 2017) The 2017 lineup for the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, as well as the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps has been updated as Randolph County Speedway in Moberly, Mo. has been added to Sunday, March 26.

Originally slated for Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo. the “Historic Half-Mile” has been moved to Sunday, April 23.

“The Fairgrounds in Sedalia have been working on renovating the concession area, and right now, the project is behind so rather than try and have a race in March that would get in their way and cause problems for them, we got with the crew at Randolph County Raceway and they are willing to let us move the race over to their track in Moberly,” said event promoter, Gerry Olson.

Reutzel Takes Momentum to Missouri

CLUTE, Texas (September 15, 2016) – The deeper into the season it gets, the more momentum Aaron Reutzel seems to be gaining.

Over the past two weekends, Reutzel has added another signature win with a $10,000 Jackson Nationals triumph aboard the Dissolvalloy Downhole Revolution/BC Fundz No. 87 Triple-X Sprint Car and then posted an NSA Shootout runner-up finish this past weekend in Shane Liebig’s No. 55 Sprint Car.

It’s momentum that the reigning Lucas Oil ASCS National champion from Clute, TX, looks to carry into this weekend’s ASCS Warrior Region double at Kansas City’s Lakeside Speedway on Friday and then Sedalia’s historic half-mile on Saturday before National Tour action resumes next weekend at Wheatland’s Lucas Oil Speedway.

Brad Loyet Masters the Historic Half-Mile with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour

SEDALIA, Mo. (June 17, 2016) After a terrible night at the track on Thursday at the Creek County Speedway, Friday’s performance at the Missouri State Fair Speedway made the sting disappear as Missouri’s Brad Loyet parked the Vacuworx Global/Buddy Loyet Motorsports No. 05 in Victory Lane for the second time in 2016 with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, and first time at the “Historic Half-Mile”.

Speedweek’s first repeat winner, Loyet gave chase the first 17 laps before finding the line around the Missouri State Fair Speedway and leader, Channin Tankersley, as the pair began to clear slower traffic.

“To win here is really cool. I’ve always wanted to pick up a win here at the “Historic Half-Mile” so now my names on the list but, it definitely wasn’t easy. Channin [Tankersley] was setting a really quick pace out there and I didn’t know if I was going to catch him. I though lapped traffic was going to help me, but it actually hurt me getting into the dirt air and throwing up a lot of dust,” commented Loyet, who is not third in Speedweek standings.
