Jay Miller and the #09 Team Prepare for 2008 Racing Season

Waterford, CT — SK Modified division driver Jay Miller and his #09 Team are busy preparing for the upcoming 2008 racing season, which promises to be an exciting one.

“Our plans are to run the full schedule at Waterford this season” said Miller. “We basically have totally revamped our primary car that we ran last year, from the ground up with all new parts and pieces. We’ll also have our backup car complete and ready to go. The team and I are really excited about the upcoming season and can’t wait for it to get started. We feel we can run competitively and contend for solid finishes.”

Martinsville Modified Date Changes

Daytona Beach, FL — NASCAR and Martinsville Speedway announced today the Made in America Whelen 300 race has been moved back a day to Saturday, Sept. 20.

The Made in American Whelen 300 is the annual combination race with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour.

Donny Lia captured the third edition of the Made in America Whelen 300 in 2007 en route to his first NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship. The race has had a different winner all three years.
