Qualifying: Another Pole For Sellers

Loudon, NH — Peyton Sellers won his third Coors Light Pole Award of the NASCAR Camping World Series East season Thursday in qualifying for Friday’s Heluva Good! Fall 125 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Sellers, of Danville, Va., set the fast time of 30.124 seconds around the 1.058-mile oval for an average speed of 126.437. It was his sixth overall career NASCAR Camping World Series pole, including the two he won in the West.

NASCAR national series veteran Steve Park, of East Northport, N.Y. was second fastest at 30.177 (126.215). Eddie MacDonald, of Rowley, Mass., winner of June’s race at New Hampshire, was the third fastest, followed by Brian Ickler, of San Diego, Calif., and Marc Davis, of Mitchelville, Md.

 

Series point leader Matt Kobyluck of Uncasville, Conn., qualified 13th, while Jesus Hernandez of Fresno, Calif., who is second in points, qualified 11th. Kobyluck enters the event with a 176-point lead.
