Trailer Race on Smacktoberfest Agenda

Waterford, CT — Waterford Speedbowl has perfected the Trailer Race. Nobody does it better that the Speedbowl where a group has actually emerged dedicated to the activity.

So, if you’re into mayhem and craziness Sunday afternoon’s Smacktoberfest at Waterford Speedbowl is where you want to be. A Trailer Race tops the billing on what promises to be a very busy afternoon.

Two Demolition Derbies (eight and four cylinder) a chain, an auto ski event and another chapter of Speedway Bowling are also on the bill. The gates open at noon and crashing begins at 2 pm.

The Speedbowl admits to “borrowing” the Trailer Race. Still, the likes of “Bad” Brad Voglesong, “Slick” Rick Whittle and their cohorts have put a definite Speedbowl brand on it. It has never failed to be a success and the loads on the trailers have continued to be laughable.

The only folks who do not love Trailer Racing are those who have to clean the place up. There is always yards and yards of debris.
