Seekonk Annouces 2009 Rules Meetings
Seekonk, MA — Seekonk Speedway will hold its 2009 rules meetings on Tuesday October 28 and Wednesday October 29th. Tuesday will hold the meetings for SYRA (6 PM), Street Stocks (7 PM) and Sport Trucks (8 PM). On Wednesday, the Pure Stocks (6 PM), Late Models (7 PM) and Pro Stocks (8PM) teams will meet. All meetings will occur at the American Legion Hall at 351 Fall River Ave., Seekonk, MA (Across from Fire Fly and Torts Bar & Grill).
Seekonk Speedway’s flea market takes place every Sunday. Vendor space is only $20.
Banquet tickets are currently on sale. The banquet to honor Seekonk Speedway’s 2008 champions will take place on January 17, 2009 at the Venus De Milo in Swansea, MA. Tickets are $30 per person/10 per table.
Another event on the Seekonk Speedway schedule is the Halloween Happening, slated to start at 2 PM. The day will include trick-or-treating, a costume contest for all ages and a Best Decorated Halloween Car/Truck. Other activies include Enduros, Enduro Drags, Spectator Drags, Figure 8s, a Backwards race and Truck Figure 8 races. The rules are posted for the event, sign up now. Trophies will be awarded for all winners.
