Loudon, NH — Two pivotal NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races highlight the 2009 major event schedule at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The LENOX Industrial Tools 301 on Sunday, June 28 will once again be the first of 10 events in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series “Race to the Chase.” This segment of the season is critical for every team as they look to qualify for the Championship round starting in September at the SYLVANIA 300.
The first NASCAR weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will also feature the NASCAR Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by RVs.com and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour New England 100 on Saturday, June 27. Heluva Good! Pole Day for the Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Camping World Series East Heluva Good! 125 will headline the Friday, June 26 schedule.

Stafford Springs, CT — With the 2008 Stafford Motor Speedway NASCAR Racing season in the history books, it is time once again for competitors to be rewarded for their season-long efforts through the Stafford Motor Speedway point fund and NASCAR Contingency awards. For their efforts during the 2008 season, SMS competitors banked over $400,000 in regular season purse money, post-season awards and contingency bonuses.

Waterford, CT — Terry Eames announced today that he has formed a partnership with former SK Modified driver and local businessman Shawn Monahan to take over control of track operations when the current operator’s lease expires on November 30th. The duo will host a kick-off meeting on December 1st at 7:00 PM at the Groton Inn and Suites to announce some of their plans for the upcoming season.
Concord, NC — For the first time in six years, a Southern competitor has earned the title of North-South Shootout champion. Burt Myers of Kernersville, NC, waved the confederate flag from victory lane after winning the 6th Annual John Blewett III Memorial North-South Shootout ™ Modified 125 presented by Town & Country Ford. It was a sweep for Myers who also earned the DMC Pole Award with his fast lap of 15.238 seconds. Myers also earned an impressive $11,280 in cash and prizes for the victory.
