Gee Perry Wins ARTS Event at Monadnock Speedway on July 18th

Winchester, NH — Gee Perry of Granby, CT driving the #83 sponsored FEB Construction truck won the ARTS 25 lap feature at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH on Saturday, July 18th.

Perry was slated to start 3rd in the feature, but due to mechanical problems with the #12 of Derek Chriss, Perry moved up and started on the pole with Chriss starting in the rear.

At the drop of the green by Bradlee Hector, an honorary starter and Boy Scout, Perry jumped in the lead and led all 25 laps doing everything he had to do to gain maximum points for the night’s events. There were two cautions in the night’s event bunching up the field twice, but Perry was not to be denied as he quickly resumed the lead and left the racing to be done behind him.  Brandon Warren and Andy Lindeman swapped positions for a few laps toward the end of the race but at the checker Andy would take 2nd leaving Warren in a close 3rd followed by John St.Germain.

Perry also won the heat race as well taking the lead from Warren on lap 7.  Perry gained 18 points on the leader and is now only 55 points behind.

Results:  Gee Perry (#83), Andy Lindeman (#3), Brandon Warren (#55), John St.Germain (#14), Jon Zoller (#13), Mike Carrigg (#41), Derek Chriss (#12)

The Capital Motorsports Contingency Award goes to Derek Chriss.  The RacingJunk.com Contingency Awards go to Gee Perry, Andy Lindeman, and Brandon Warren.
