Stafford Springs, CT)—The first 250 fans through the gates of Stafford Motor Speedway’s CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party during the 39th Annual CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler Weekend on Sunday, April 25 will receive a free CARQUEST tee-shirt. The CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party allows race fans to meet and greet the drivers of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour along with the drivers from Stafford’s five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
The CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party has been a Stafford Motor Speedway tradition for over 20 years, offering fans a unique perspective to not only meet and greet with their favorite drivers, but to get up close and personal with their favorite racecars as well. Stafford Motor Speedway hosts two CARQUEST Belts and hose Pit Parties each season, once at the season opening CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler Weekend and once during the season ending CARQUEST Fall Final Weekend.
“Our CARQUEST Belts and Hose Pit Party is one of the most longstanding traditions we have here at Stafford,” said SMS COO/GM Mark Arute. “It’s a great event for our race fans and CARQUEST gives us great support for the Pit Party with their Belts and Hose brand. CARQUEST has always put our race fans and their entertainment first here at Stafford and the CARQUEST tee-shirt giveaway that we will be doing is just another example of CARQUEST doing something great for our race fans.”
The 2010 Tech-Net Spring Sizzler gets underway Friday, April 23 with a practice session for Stafford’s weekly divisions. The practice session will be open to the public at no charge. Action continues on Saturday, April 24 with Coors Light Pole Qualifying for the Whelen Modified Tour cars, along with heat and consolation races for Stafford’s weekly divisions.
