Emergency Driving Skills and St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Tap For New Hampshire Motor Speedway This Weekend

Loudon, NH — The harsh New England winter may be winding down, but that doesn’t mean the unexpected can’t happen while driving. Join New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Stevens Advanced Driving School this weekend as they promote safe driving techniques for people of all ages.

The Stevens Advanced Driving School offers a unique driving program featuring effective emergency braking techniques; best hand and seating position for control; precision steering and car control; tire care, mirrors and blind spots; emergency lane changes and the dangers of tailgating.

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will take on the Auto Club Speedway, a 2-mile oval in Fontana, Calif., this weekend with the fifth race in the 2011 season. Coverage begins Sunday at 3 p.m. (ET) on FOX.

The IZOD INDYCAR Series kicks off its anticipated 2011 season Sunday with the Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg, Fla. Coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. (ET) on ABC.

For those race fans in the Granite State this weekend, don’t forget to catch everyone’s favorite moose, Milo, at the Manchester St. Patrick’s Day parade. The parade kicks off at noon and includes a one-mile course that runs down Elm Street.
