Craftsman Mechanic of the Year 2011 Balloting Underway

The voting process to determine the 2011 Craftsman Mechanic of the Year Award has begun. Craftsman, the Official Tools of NASCAR, is offering rewards, recognition, bonus money and guaranteed-for-life Craftsman tools to top Mechanics in the NASCAR Whelen

All-American Series as selected by their peers.

Ballots will be available at your local track or you can cast your vote on NASCARmembers.com. Your votes will determine the Craftsman Mechanic of the Year at each NASCAR Whelen All-American Series track as well as the Top Three Mechanics

in the country in the running for the National Championship.

The National Champion will be the mechanic with the most votes.

CRAFTSMAN MECHANIC OF THE YEAR AWARDS:

Track Award Winner: $300 Craftsman gift card, $100 cash, trophy.

Top Three National Winners: $2,000 Craftsman gift card, $1,000 cash, plus travel and accommodations for winner and guest to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards Banquet.

National Champion: $2,000 cash bonus. The winner will be announced on-stage at the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Awards Banquet.

BALLOT RULES:

. Craftsman Mechanic of the Year participation is available exclusively to NASCAR members in good standing who participate in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

. You must include your 2011 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series license number on your ballot to validate your vote.

. One vote per member.

. All votes must be received by September 18, 2011.

. A person may only win Top Three and National Craftsman Mechanic of the Year once every three years.
