FVP National Sprint League Aims for $5,000 in Spencer Saturday

Windom, MN (August 19, 2015) – Drivers of the FVP National Sprint League will be vying for a $5,000 top prize, with $3,000 going to second Saturday night at the Clay County Fair Speedway in Spencer, Iowa!  The 3/8-mile oval will play host to the series for the first time, and proves to be the perfect venue for its stars!

Craig Dollansky, who has promoted shows in the past in Spencer, won there with the World of Outlaws in 2011.  Craig, from Elk River, Minnesota also won with the NSL earlier this season in Des Moines, Iowa and will be aboard the TKS Motorsports #2KS on Saturday.

Two-time Knoxville Raceway champion, Brian Brown, and five-time Huset’s Speedway champion, Mark Dobmeier both have two top five finishes on their resume in Spencer.  Seven-time Knoxville Raceway champion, Terry McCarl, also has a top five at the Clay County Fair Speedway, and all are expected to compete Saturday.

Other NSL competitors anticipated in Spencer include four-time Knoxville Nationals champion and series’ point leader, Danny Lasoski, two-time “King of California” Tim Kaeding, defending Knoxville Raceway champion, Ian Madsen, seven-time IRA champion, Bill Balog, 2015 Knoxville Nationals prelim winner, Bryan Clauson, nine-time Aussie World Series Sprintcars champ, Brooke Tatnell, 2015 Knoxville Nationals World Challenge winner, Lynton Jeffrey, 2013 Huset’s Speedway 360 champion, Matt Juhl, young guns Austin McCarl, Tasker Phillips, Dakota Hendrickson and more!

Tickets and Times

Tickets are $20 for adults, and $5 for ages 5-12.  Kids 4 and under are FREE!

Grandstands open at 5:00 p.m.  Hot laps are scheduled for 7:00.  Qualifying and racing will follow!  The FVP National Sprint League will be the only class running Saturday.
