At A Glance: Outlaws Make Triumphant Return to I-30 Speedway

The World of Outlaws Craftsman® Sprint Car Series invade track located in Little Rock, Ark. on Tuesday, April 26 after 20-year hiatus

CONCORD, N.C. – April 25, 2016 – For the first time since 1994, the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series will return to I-30 Speedway located in Little Rock, Ark. on Tuesday, April 26, as the series heads east following the two-month-long western swing.

The last time the World of Outlaws battled on the clay of I-30, Mark Kinser wrapped up his third win at the track in four years after capturing the flag in 1991, ’92 and ’94. Kinser’s cousin, and 20-time World of Outlaws champion, Steve Kinser, won the first event at the track during the Outlaw’s inaugural season in 1979.

This season there have been seven different winners in 19 races, with seven-time champion Donny Schatz and Brad Sweet leading the way with five wins apiece. Shane Stewart and Joey Saldana also have multiple wins after each claiming a win the last time the Outlaws were on track at the Texas Outlaw Nationals at Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

In the standings, Sweet continues to lead over Stewart, but the top seven spots are separated by less than 200 markers with more than 70 races left in the season.

Discount General Admission tickets can be purchased at participating O’Reilly Auto Parts stores. Each ticket purchased at an O’Reilly Auto Parts location will feature a special $5 discount. Tickets buyers will exchange their O’Reilly receipt for tickets at the Main Grandstand ticket booth on race day.
