Northeast Race Cars & Parts Tri-Track Open Modified Racing Series Returning To Monadnock This Weekend

Winchester, NH – The Northeast Race Car & Parts Tri-Track Open Modified Series will kick off this weekend at the Monadnock for a 100 lap race in tribute to the late Ron Bouchard. Bouchard passed away last December after a battle with cancer.  It will be a 5 race series as they will travel to Seekonk Speedway on Wednesday night June 29th.  Star Speedway on Saturday July 30th and the New London Waterford Speedbowl on Thursday August 25th and Sunday October 23rd.

Close to 40 modifieds have entered for Saturday’s event. A total of 27 cars will take the green flag for the 100 lap event. The winner of Saturday night’s race will go home with $5,000 dollars.   Defending winner Matt Hirschman has entered the event.  Andy Jankowiak will also be entered. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Drivers, Ron Silk, Justin Bonsignore, and Rowan Pennink have entered.  Monadnock fan favorites Russ Hersey, Todd Patnode, Kirk Alexander, and Dwight Jarvis have also entered the event.

The Monadnock Speedway NASCAR Whelen All American Series divisions will be apart of Saturday’s program. The Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks, and Young Guns will be on hand.

The Pits will Open at 10:00 A.M. and the Main Grandstands at 1:00 P.M. There will be 2 30 minute practice sessions for the Northeast Race Car & Parts Tri Track Open Modified Series beginning 2:00 P.M.-2:30 P.M. and 3:45 P.M.-4:15 P.M. The Monadnock Speedway NASCAR Whelen All American Series weekly divisions will have practice from 2:30 P.M.-3:45 P.M. There will be a special tribute to Ron Bouchard at 4:30 P.M. will all of the drivers on the track. Racing will kick off at 5:00 P.M.
