Mother Nature Claims “Pennsylvania Midget Week” Opener at Susquehanna

York Haven, Pennsylvania — Heavy rains just prior to ProSource Qualifying forced cancellation of Sunday night’s “Pennsylvania Midget Week” USAC Midget National Championship/ARDC opener at Susquehanna Speedway.

It was to mark the USAC Midget division’s first-ever visit to the track after rains cancelled last year’s Susquehanna event as well.

Brady Bacon recorded the fastest time in hot laps on Sunday with a time of 17.504 seconds.

“Pennsylvania Midget Week” continues Monday night, Aug. 15 at Path Valley Speedway Park before heading off to Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway in Newmanstown on Tuesday, Aug. 16 and concludes with Abbottstown’s Lincoln Speedway on Wednesday, Aug. 17.
