Rain Postpones Northeast Ford Focus Race; Lowville Up Next
Indianapolis, IN — The Northeast Ford Focus Midget Car Series remained near stagnant after Saturday’s feature postponement at Oswego Speedway in New York, but competitors look for better weather to run again this weekend.
Competitors trek to Adirondack International Speedway in Lowville, N.Y. for Saturday’s race, the first at the track in 2006. The event will also be the second for the series after rain forced the postponement of Saturday’s feature at Oswego.
The point standings was altered slightly as two heat races were contested, with victories going to Ryan Smith and Stephanie Stevens. Smith closed to within two points of point leader Nick Wean.,
