Brad Vogelsong Claims X Car Double Features

Waterford, CT — Brad Voglesong recorded a clean-sweep Wednesday evening, winning dual X Car features at the Waterford Speedbowl.

Other feature winners were George Correia (Super X Car), Glen Billings (Legends) and, Richard “Bubby” Brouwer (X Modifieds).

“Tonight things really went our way. In the first race, I started near the back. Our start in the second race was determined by a draw, and I got really lucky being on the pole” said the winner in victory lane.

Voglesong now has four feature wins to his credit in 2007.

In X Modified action, Richard “Bubby” Brouwer won his sixth feature of the season, narrowly defeating Chris Drouin Jr. “This is a great bunch of guys to race with, and believe me they’re getting stronger & stronger each week. It’s not a walk in the park to win these races now,” stated Brouwer in victory lane. 

Glenn Billings won a close victory over Jason Palmer and Ryan Morgan in the Legends main event, while it was George Correia taking the checkers in the Super X Car feature over Joe Campbell and Duke Place.

There were over 100 cars in competition.
