Thompson Speedway Office Adpots Winter Schedule
Thompson, CT — The office at the Thompson International Speedway once again adopted its winter schedule beginning Monday, December 3, 2007. The office will be open four days a week between the hours of 9 AM and 12 Noon. The days of operation will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. The office will be closed on Tuesdays.
Track officials also want to announce that the new competition rules for the 2008 season are available. Competitors may find them on the track’s web site or may call the track office to have a copy mailed. The web site may be found at: www.thompsonspeedway.com.
A steady flow of car number and driver registration forms continues to arrive at the Thompson track office. Those who raced at Thompson in 2007 and gained NASCAR points with a particular car number will have until January 15, 2008 to renew that number. If the number is not renewed by that date, it will be awarded to another competitor on a first come, first served basis. Renewal forms are available on the Thompson International Speedway web site or may be obtained by calling the track office.
Race fans are also taking full advantage of the convenience of the Thompson International Speedway gift card. These gift cards make a wonderful holiday gift for racers and race fans on holiday shopping lists. A call to the track office and any major credit card is all that’s needed to obtain one of these popular holiday gift ideas.
The final announcement coming from the Thompson complex is that the 2008 racing schedule is nearing completion. Receiving confirmation on a few more dates is all that is preventing the release of a very busy line up for next season. Once the schedule is released, it will be posted on the Thompson Speedway web site. Schedules will also be mailed to all those on the track’s mailing list as we get a little closer to the beginning of the season. Fans who do not have access to the internet and would like to be added to the Thompson mailing list may call the speedway office at 860-923-2280.
For more information on any of these items, fans are urged to visit the Thompson web page at www.thompsonspeedway.com.
