Waterford Speedbowl Christmas Party This Thursday
The holiday spirit, complete with some bargains for shoppers, will be in full force at Waterford Speedbowl’s annual Christmas Party Thursday night, Dec. 20 at the Groton Motor Inn & Suits in Groton, CT.
“Party goers” are asked to bring a new toy that will be donated to the Connecticut Department of Children and Families. Over the past half dozen years the Speedbowl family has been very generous in support of the less fortunate in the area. A toy automatically enters the donor into a drawing for valuable prizes.
Complimentary hoer d’oeuvres will be available. Activity will get underway at 6 PM.
2008 season passes (at October prices); gift certificates, car number requests and 2007 Awards Banquet Tickets will be available. The Awards Banquet will be held at the Groton Motor Inn on Saturday night, Jan. 12.
