Canadian Champ plans PASS North, National Championship SLM Campaign
The Halifax Nova Scotia native has made annual PASS North appearances since the series’ inception in 2001, but 2008 will mark his first all out assault on the east’s fastest full bodied racing circuit. Fleming has relocated his race team to Buckfield
Holbrook has played a pivotal role in both Ben and Mike Rowe’s Pro All Stars Series success and the combination of Flemming’s ability behind the wheel, a veteran Nova Scotia based crew and Holbrook’s’ technical savvy should make for a formidable race team.
Flemming will compete in a minimum of seventeen PASS events in 2008. In addition to the fourteen race PASS North Series schedule, the team will make a run at the first ever PASS National Championship, a four race mini series that will pit the PASS North and South Series against one another for overall bragging rights.
“I’m really pumped about our 2008 schedule, and the opportunity to spend a full season racing with the Pro All Stars,” said Flemming.” My long time sponsors Pat Ryder and Cheryl O’Brien from The Roofing Connection have really stepped up their participation to make this schedule possible. They’ve provided everything we need to be competitive. Honestly, I haven’t been this excited about racing in a long, long time!”
Flemming’s 2008 season will kick off on March 22nd at Hickory (NC) Motor Speedway for the first leg of the PASS National Championship Series, The Easter Bunny 150. Their PASS North campaign will get underway Saturday April 19th at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough ME.
